Finally, 2024
Welcome to the original-ish IXR web page! After almost 10 years or so the Computer Deconstruction Lab (formerly known as IXR, AKA CDL, Comp Decon, etc.) is back in our hands. Yup, we missed renewing and suddenly it was SEO Parked and later sold to some Chinese site which seemed to favor epileptic seizures (lots of quickly flashing images). Anyway we've got it back and we'll clean this up. We have a few web pages and we're only partially restoring this one so existing links point back to us.
Visit us!Visit this web site: Computer Deconstruction Lab where we have all the updated information. We are located at:
The InfoAge Science History Learning Center and Museum, at historic Camp Evans. The address is: 2201 Marconi Road Wall, NJ 07719 Microcontroller Mondays
Every Monday, 7-10pm. (Check for exceptions)

Arduinos, Propellers, Bus Pirates and more - It's Monday night microcontroller madness!
This is a study group where we get together, share, experiment, and work on projects while helping each other learn about various microcontrollers, like the Arduino. Format of this group will be:
IXR Lab Resources: Available for lab use- We have numerous Arduino shields and various displays to experiment with, Arduinos, a Propellers, an FPGA system, AVR Dragon and AVR Programmers, and a library of microcontroller books. Or, design your own robot using the EDDIE robot development platform with Microsoft Kinect. Plus, a well-equipped electronics lab. Beginners welcome: Even if you've never used a microcontroller before, come on in! You can use one from the lab and we'll help set you up with some starter projects. BRING: If you have your own laptop, bring it. If you have your own Arduino or other microcontroller to work on, bring it too. If you do not have a laptop or a microcontroller, thats OK! Just please state so in your RSVP so I can be sure to have one available for you from our lab. COST: Microcontroller Mondays are Free to IXR members; for non-members there is a $5 recommended donation. |
